BWC Making Progress

I'm typically one of the last to admit when any state organization is making progress, but when I went to the BWC's July board meeting today, I got a little surprise. The BWC released their progress on many of the Deloitte recommendations.

Incase you do not remember the BWC had Deloitte do a study on how to make the BWC more competitive. The BWC has responded, and is on a pretty good pace to meet many of the recommendations.

For fiscal year 2010 the BWC had 59 recommendations addressed, and so far they have implemented 46 of them, for a completion rate of 84%. With five months to go in the year it looks like the BWC will have all their action items completed in time. Not to bad for a huge state organization.
